The seven collections

Seven names, none invented

Each collection is a word our grandmothers weighed before we did — Yoruba and Swahili, spoken exactly, never for decoration. Every collection spans the three doors.

— or browse by stone, above —

ee-tahn-SHAHN — “rays of light

Ìtànṣán

Light, split into facets and returned. Hexagonal aquamarine and kite-cut diamond in cool, exact deco lines — for brilliance that is measured, not loud.

ee-YOON — “the royal red coral

Iyùn

In the old courts iyùn — deep red coral — was the king of beads, worn to signify power and lineage. Ruby and spinel banded in gold now carry that office: warmth, with authority.

SHEH-ghee — “the royal blue bead

Ṣègi

Ṣègi were the blue beads reserved for kings and the royal priesthood, set into the oldest crowns. Rendered in sapphire and diamond, from deepest royal to palest sky — the blue that waits for the room to finish.

WOO-rah — “gold

Wúrà

Wúrà simply means gold — the metal of wealth, warmth and welcome. Yellow sapphire and warm diamond in high-polish gold: jewellery that glows rather than glitters.

aw-LAH — “nobility, honour

Ọlá

Ọlá is nobility — the quiet honour one carries, not the wealth one shows. Emerald, tanzanite and chrysoprase cradled in restrained diamond: green at its most dignified.

NEH-mah — “grace

Neema

Neema means grace — a blessing gently given. Lavender and pink sapphire in lattices and pear-drops that fall like light through a veil. Softness, with lineage.

zoo-HOO-rah — “Venus, the shining one

Zuhura

Named for Venus, the shining one — where the house lets colour sing at full voice. Black opal cradled in sapphire fringe, ombré that folds like fabric. The pieces that enter a room first.
